December 31st, 2011 - Happy New Year

Jeff is at work and Syd is at a sleepover so it's Jared and I left to party it up. LOL. We partied by going to visit Jeff at the Firehouse!

October 31, 2011 - Halloween

Went out with the kids Trick or Treating. Kids got A LOT of candy! Jared was a football player and Syd was Scream.

October 28th, 2012 - Sydney's Fall Party

Sydney had a fall party at school and she got to play games and have snacks and make crafts. Pretty cool party if you ask me.

October 28th, 2012 - Jared's Fall Party

Jared's fall party consisted of popcorn, hot chocolate and skits.

 The class did a good job. Jared's group made up a rap for their teacher that was pretty cool plus Jared looks pretty good in a hat!

We were outside earlier this week cleaning up the leaves and I caught this picture of Syd.

August 8th, 2011 - Bowling

We went bowling today with on of Jared's friends. I think the kids were playing more for fun than anything else. It's sad to see the end of summer. Not ready for school to begin.

July 18th, 2011 - Jersey's Cafe

We took a drive up to Jersey Cafe to try their sandwiches that were reviewed by Guy Fieri on the Food Network. They boast sandwiches that are made just like they make them in New Jersey. I've never had a sub while in New Jersey but these sandwiches were well worth the drive and wait. YUMMY!

They actually have a pack of cards at your table so you had something to do-Cool 

June 27th, 2011- Relaxing day at home

Today we spent the day goofing off at home. Even the neighbors cat thought that it was a day to just be!
And there is always a silver lining.

 

June 25th, 2011 - Tennis...anyone?

We played a little bit of tennis tonight, as the kids seem to enjoy it.

June 23rd, 2011 - Sydney's 10th Birthday

1st we had cupcakes for breakfast.

Then we decided to decorate Syd's face with a cupcake. 

Then it was on to get her a cell phone for her birthday.

Then to Sam's for a slice of Pizza.

Then to Target for a shopping spree, to buy clothes and jewelry.

Then to Cracker Barrel for some home cooking!

And home for some Eclair Cake.

Now that we gained 10 pounds each, I think it's time to wish Syd the best of years yet!

June 21st, 2011 - Playing football in the dark

It has been really warm up here, so we haven't been spending a lot of time outside. So the kids decided to go through the football around outside.

June 21st, 2011-Tennis, anyone?

With Wimbledon on the TV we decided to go play Tennis in the driveway. It was harder than it looked to keep the ball in the confines of the concrete.

June 20th, 2011 - Summer Storm

We are back home and after spending a day getting all the laundry done and trying to get back into the swing of things, we were treated to almost 4 inches of rain. It wasreally cool to watch it come down.

The Wayne creek is back!

  

June 17th, 2011 - Swimming and Visiting at Michelle's

After the eating way too much at the diner we headed over to my sisters house to hang out, have burgers and swim.

It started out all sunny and fun....

then a storm showed up very quickly and sent us all back inside.

So we ate dinner, played games, talked until the storm cleared.

Jeff also went downstairs to checkout James' Harley.

We celebrated, James, Sydney and Jeff's birthdays.

The kids played Wii.

Then the sun came out and the kids headed back to the pool.

Then to hangout on the deck.

Then back inside to play some more.

The new cousin, Charlie.

One last picture before we had back to Martine's house. The six cousins together.

June 17th, 2011 - Marietta Diner

We decided to stop for lunch at the Marietta Diner.

It's a diner that Guy Fieri from the Food Network channel had reviewed and gave the Spinach Pie an awesome review. Jeff had some catfish that he liked a lot, Jared had a ham and bacon grilled cheese that he finished. Little Sam had 3 huge pancakes that he almost completely finished.

So it was a good experience. 

June 16th, 2011 - Georgia Aquarium

We went to the Georgia Aquarium with my sister Martine and her wonderful family. The Aquarium is amazing. The first thing we did was go through the Ocean Voyager and we loved the acrylic tunnel 

and standing in front of a gigantic acrylic viewing window

This is just a small piece of the window, it was awesome.

One of our FaVOURITE ocean creatures was the Manta Ray. Not sure why, it's not pretty, it is graceful though.

Then we moved on to the Tropical waters and sat infront of that window for awhile.

Then the kids went to touch the sharks and stingrays

The aquarium also had these tubes the kids could climb into to look at the fish, if I was smaller I would have gone in the tubes too.

One of the sea creatures there that we had never seen before was a Weedy Sea Dragon. A strange lookin' beasty.

The kids also got the opportunity to touch the Starfish too.

The Penguin exhibit also had tunnels the kids could crawl through. Looked like the kids got a great view of them.

Last thing we saw was a Beluga whale playing with a toy, it was very cute.

All in all a good visit. Now to go home and watch Prince Caspian, play and have chinese food.
