Sydney's Basketball Game - January 28th, 2012

Unfortunately for me, Jared and Sydney's basketball games fell at the same time so Jeff and I had to go separate directions. Syd wanted her Dad to watch her play. So I got text updates on her game. I know she won her game but I don't know by how much. I also know she played a good game! Yay Sydney.

January 28th, 2012 - Jared's Basketball Game

Jared's team won their basketball game today 15-11.

Jared added to the score board and did some great defense.

January 23rd, 2012 - Motivation??

Trying to find some motivation from somewhere so I thought I would go outside and take some pictures this morning.

Caught the sun trying peek through the clouds and the tree that looked really pretty. 

Syd said the sun peeking through looked like a stallion chasing a bunny?

Then I caught a red bellied woodpecker pecking it's way up a tree.

Am I motivated - not so much. But these were pretty things to see.  

January 21st, 2012 - Basketball Cancellation

Jared's basketball game was canceled due to the power company turning the power off to the building we were supposed to play in. So we got to stay home and play basketball outside in the snow!

January 21st, 2012 - Sydney's 2nd Basketball Game

Syd did an awesome job running defensive plays on the other team allowing her teammates to take shots at the basket. We came away with a win 27-23. Go MN-5!

January 21st, 2012 - Jared's 3rd indoor soccer game.

Jared played his 3rd game of soccer today and the boys did a pretty good job. We lost but were not defeated.

January 16th, 2012 - Ice skating

Today we took Jared and Sydney and some of their friends Ice Skating. It seemed like they had fun.

After Ice Skating we came home and had Marshmallow fights and made pyramids - that was fun!

January 14th, 2012 - Jared begins his 2012 basketball season.

Jared played his first basketball game of the season today. He did a great job with rebounds and staying with his man. His team won the game by 1 point.

January 14th, 2012 - Sydney's 1st Basketball game

Sydney played in her first basketball game yesterday and she did an awesome job of blocking out and getting rebounds.

January 14th, 2012 - Indoor Soccer

Jared is having a blast playing soccer. He made an awesome stop as goalie and had an assist for the goal that was made.

 

January 7th, 2012 - Indoor Soccer

Jared played an indoor soccer game this afternoon on astro turf. Pretty rough on the skin but he had a lot of fun!
