February 19th, 2011 - Snow is finally gone!

Snow has finally all melted and the kids are outside playing basketball.

February 14th, 2011 - Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was a lot of fun. Kids had party at school and we had a little celebration for the kids at home to let them know how much we love them!

Ice, Ice baby....February 3rd, 2011

Kids are still at home with me.Yay! schools cannot break through the ice to make it safe for the kids so we get to spend some more time together.

Kids went outside and went sledding or should I say sliding on the ice. It was pretty cool to slide around everywhere.

We went outside again in the afternoon when the sleet was coming down. The kids decided to see if their gloves would stick to the basketball goal and they had a lot of success.

Snow Day - February 1, 2011

I got to have the kids home with me today due to the Ice Storm coming through.

After getting caught up on some homework we decided to go spend some time outside. It was a lot of fun watching the kids sledding all over our newly formed Ice Rink that was our cul-de-sac.

I'm not sure what they are discussing here but I wish I was an icicle on one of their sleds.

I'm not sure Lizzy was having such a good time she kind of looks like she's doing everything she can to get her paws off the ice, but she didn't want to go in the house either.

The way that the ice had frozen on the trees was awfully pretty.
