The storms we had last night made a Snapping Turtle come out of it's hiding place and Jeff decided to bring it home for the kids to see. Unfortunately, Jeff left it in a bucket outside and it managed to escape.
Jump forward to this evening and Jared and his friends were out for a bike ride and actually came across it on the street around the corner, not too far from the house. We picked it up and took it to the creek.
Hopefully it will find a new home.
